The factory challenge

Alnasr Chemicals Salt Factory in Giza needed to improve bulk salt transfer while reducing spillage, managing corrosion in a salt-exposed environment, controlling dust and delivering a more consistent material flow.

ENTRA's engineering approach

  • Developed a custom Mega Belt conveyor layout for bulk material transfer.
  • Used enclosed transfer points and variable-speed drive control to better manage product flow.
  • Planned inclined routing, treated internal surfaces and protected drive equipment for the operating environment.

What the solution was intended to address

More controlled movement between process stages, fewer exposed transfer points and an arrangement designed around the site and material-handling needs.
